Hi! My name is Mikael Joachim, and I'm an aspiring badminton athlete with a big dream: to compete internationally and become one of the best in the Pan American region. Additionally, the long term mission is to raise the profile of badminton in Trinidad and Tobago and provide a pathway for younger athletes to see and know what is possible through sport. Therefore, I'm currently raising funds to attend two incredible opportunities that could shape my athletic future and help me achieve that long-term goal of bringing exposure to the sport of badminton locally:

✅ (JULY 2025)A prestigious badminton camp in Bekasi, Indonesia, where I’ll train under elite coaches, sharpen my skills, and immerse myself in a culture deeply rooted in badminton excellence.

✅(OCTOBER 2025) An international badminton tournament in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, where I’ll gain critical experience competing against top players from around the Caribbean, South, Central and North America.

These experiences will not only push my game to the next level but also build my confidence, discipline, and resilience—both on and off the court.

Between travel, accommodation, training fees, tournament entry, and equipment, the total costs are more than I can cover alone. I'm seeking to raise TTD$40000 to help make this dream a reality.
