Hello everyone, this is our first grandson Sier, he is just 3 years old. He has been living with us, his grandma and grandpa since he was a baby. He started school for the first time this September and loved it, since he is a very sociable and fun-loving boy. He is no longer able to attend school at this time due to his medical condition.

Here is his story:-
Recently he started having trouble breathing normally and would snore in his sleep which we thought was a bit odd for his age. He began having trouble swallowing solid foods which seemed even more odd. We took him to EWMSC where he was diagnosed with a severe case of adenotonsillar hypertrophy where the tonsil is abnormally larger than it should be resulting in sleep disorder, problems swallowing and breathing. We were also told that there is a long waiting list to have the operation done at EWMSC. We decided that we had no choice but to take him to a private hospital to see if we could afford the surgery. The cost for the opertation was quoted to be anywhere between $28,000 - $35,000 not including follow up visits and medication.  Our Sier really needs to have this operation as soon as possible so he can start living normally again and continue with his schooling. His grandfather is the sole breadwinner as his grandmother stays at home to take care of Sier.
