NOW IS THE TIME FOR GLOBAL SOLIDARITY AND SUPPORT.

On February 14th, 2021, the San Fernando School of Arts, Sports and Culture (Kaisokah Moko Jumbies) supported by the Creative Minds Management Team (Mr. Curwin Callender, Birds Calypso Tent, The Sapphire Miriam Foundation and Ms. Debra Francis) will embark on a community initiative in the form of a global movement for health and the environment.

A showcase of our unique culture of Moko Jumbie and steel pan and promoting health awareness in solidarity with the world during this time of Covid-19. A tribute to all health care and front line workers who have risked their lives globally as we deliver health messages from the WHO Recovery Plan through banners at our 14 rest stops as Moko Jumbies walk relay style from the city SAN FERNANDO to PORT-OF-SPAIN.

There will be no gatherings and all Covid-19 protocols will be observed.

Please support this event through your donations which will go towards the rebuilding of the school located at 9 Henry Street, San Fernando and the establishment of a Cultural Museum by Moko Jumbie Icon Junior Bisnath who has contributed tremendously to our nation.

Culture will require support to survive and flourish, as it enriches the destinations’ identity and inspires tourism revival.
