IMPORTANT NOTICE:
YOUR CARD STATEMENT WILL SHOW AS BLUE GURUZ INC.

The Festival runs from July 21st! We need your support to represent our country to the world!
Show
King Jab Jab and his cohorts - Jab Molassie, Midnight Robber, Pierrot Grenade, and Jamette - are plotting world domination through populism and worldwide dictatorship. Our show presents the characters of Trinidad and Tobago's unique Carnival. Traditional and fabulously costumed characters created from African and European influences among others. They all prove their intellect through a Shakespeare quoting competition. This satirical comedy will have you laughing and thinking as we make protests about global injustice through the Theatre of Carnival.
The Performing Company
Brown Cotton Outreach (since 2003) is a collaborative, dynamic not-for-profit Arts NGO from the Caribbean twin-island Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. T&T, like Canada, is a land of immigrants from many lands mixing together. We are a mixture of African, Indian, Chinese, European, and the descendants of the people who were here when Columbus came.
Produced by Louris Martin Lee-Sing
Written by Wayne Lee-Sing
Directed by Ellen O'Malley Camps (T&T National Theatre Icon)
The Technique
Since 2003, our mission has always been to empower people through the performing arts. Our pillars are Education, Carnival Theatre, and Best Communication Practices which are implemented through our unique and indigenously developed theatre training methodology, The Camps Carnival Theatre Technique (CCTT). We create theatre, films, and workshops using the CCTT.
