Hi everyone, my name is Joshua Daniels. My girlfriend is Venezuelan, and she was recently deported while she was pregnant. Our son was born not long after, and he came into this world with a serious medical condition. Our baby has been diagnosed with Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA) and urgently needs a PDA ligation surgery. Without it, his heart and lungs will continue to struggle. The healthcare system in Venezuela is extremely limited, and getting the proper treatment there is almost impossible. Neither my girlfriend nor I have the financial means to cover the cost of the surgery. This situation has been overwhelming, and asking for help is not easy, but this is my absolute last resort as a friend of mine suggested starting a Gofundme. I’m simply trying to give my son a chance at a healthy life. Any donation, no matter how small, would mean the world to us and would bring us one step closer to saving our baby’s life.
