I am a widow of 12 years, my husband drank posion and killed himself, his entire family blamed me for his death. Due to this I was kicked out of my home with my son of 14 years. We only had $10,000 and used that money to find a place to rent, everything else was taken from me during a court battle with his family, they paid off my lawyer who told me I wouldnt be able to win this case. Within that 12 years I have been struggling to keep a roof over me and my childs head, we have had bayliff and bayliff come after us for his father's debt as his family has always pointed them in our direction, but thankfully my son grew up and got a good job and was able to keep everything a float. He now has a wife and a wonderful, little girl who just turned 1 year. She is the apple of my eye. I am currently living with them, and we are very happy together, but as of recently just before my daughter-in-law gave birth my son came and got laid off, which in turn I had no choice but to support him for I was not going to let my daughter-in-law work as she was one month away from giving birth. We are still renting, but because of him being laid off bills and rent became a bit harder as I was the only one supporting all of us, and my son as using his saving to take care of the new baby. We have been managing for the past year but unfortunately the ends came to meet us, we are currently 2 and a half month behind on rent, and have not paid light bill or water bill. My job only recently got back a job but he has to keep his first salary in and he gets paid monthly which mean he wont be getting paid until the end of july which will now make us 3 and half month due on rent. I am currently buying milk and pampers for my grand daughter as my sons saving have finished, I am the one providing everything and I cannot do so on only one salary. I am asking for assistance to come up to date with my rent and have a little extra to make groceries and other essentials, as I also cannot afford to rent some place else. My landlady has given us an eviction notice and we only have one month before we leave. Please any assitance will be greatly appreciated.
