Hi everyone. My name is Sandra Dopson. Not the artist but a 47 year career Banker. Retired now.

I am swallowing my Banker's pride and seeking financial support to help me through this latest medical hurdle in my life.

In 2020 I was diagnosed with Stage 2 Triple Negative breast cancer, which required 3 surgeries, numerous doctor visits, 16 rounds of Chemotherapy, 25 rounds of radiation treatment and 10 months of preventative treatment.

Even after all this a cancer survivor
must do regular surveillance via body scans, blood tests and doctor visits to ensure there is no recurrence. No guarantees!

Unfortunately my recent annual CT scan detected a pulmonary nodule in my lung and surgery is required to remove this nodule. If testing shows recurrent cancer I may have to do a few rounds of Chemotherapy.

I am in deep debt and financially drained after 4 years of medical expenses. This surgery is expected to cost $80k. and Chemotherapy can start at $10k per session.

Cancer is not only debilitating emotionally and physically but financially as well. Those who have had to face this dread disease, be it themselves, a friend or family member, would understand my challenges.
