My name is Shemiyah Ross and I have been a national water polo player for Trinidad and Tobago for a number of years between 2012 to present. A few years ago I was offered a partial sports scholarship to attend Salem University in West Virginia, to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Biology- Physiology and Exercise Science. Unfortunately, at the time due to financial reasons, I was unable to take up my position abroad. I have now been given another opportunity to follow my dreams of playing collegiate water polo as well as study in a field that I am passionate about, that I can use to help fellow athletes and others when I have completed my studies.

I am scheduled to start school in January 2022 and I am asking for even the smallest of donations as these can go a long way. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and hopefully, help me on my journey.
