Good day everyone,
I am reaching out to family, friends, and kind-hearted members of our community to ask for help for my son, Chenaniah Allen, who needs further eye treatment and surgery.
Chenaniah was recently reviewed at Trinidad Eye Hospital. His doctors diagnosed him with bilateral aphakia, an inoperable retinal detachment in his left eye, and nystagmus. The specialist has recommended further treatment and surgery for his right eye.
As a mother, my greatest wish is to make sure my son receives the medical care he needs and has every possible opportunity to protect and improve his vision.
Despite the challenges he faces with his eyesight, Chenaniah continues to work hard in school. He is doing very well academically and was recently recognised by Tranquillity Secondary School for Academic Excellence, achieving a 70% average for Term III of the 2025–2026 academic year.
I am asking for your help to raise TT$100000 toward the cost of his eye surgery, medical treatment, and related expenses.
