I am a 26 year old mom of two. I suffered an injury to my back in which my L4 and L5 vertebrae were both permanently shifted to the left and further to my spinal cord, respectively. They both rest on my nerve root. The pain is horrendous, to say the least. It has left me a normally independent young woman unable to work, or take care of myself independently. I require immediate surgery to remove and fuse the discs and rehabilitation after.
