IMPORTANT NOTICE:
YOUR CARD STATEMENT WILL SHOW AS BLUE GURUZ INC.

My name is Ayanna Hinds and I am a proud mother to three beautiful daughters, ages 7, 10 and 12. They are my entire world and every day I fight to be here for them.

I am also a cancer survivor. While I am incredibly grateful to have overcome cancer, the chemotherapy and radiation treatments that helped save my life left me with devastating complications that have completely changed the way I live.

As a result of the damage caused by my cancer treatment, I have developed a rectovaginal fistula—an abnormal passage between my rectum and vagina. This means that I am no longer able to pass stool normally through my rectum. Instead, faeces pass through my vagina, causing constant pain, severe discomfort, recurring infections, embarrassment and immense emotional distress.

My condition has deteriorated to the point where I can barely walk or carry out normal daily activities. My body is weak, I live with constant discomfort and even caring for my daughters has become an overwhelming challenge. What many take for granted—walking, sitting comfortably, leaving the house or spending quality time with loved ones—has become increasingly difficult for me.

For months, I have waited patiently within the public healthcare system for the surgery I desperately need. I have attended appointments, endured repeated delays, and experienced countless setbacks, yet I remain without the treatment that could significantly improve my condition. Each passing day brings more pain, more uncertainty and a greater risk to my health.

My doctors have advised that I urgently need surgery to create a colostomy, which will divert stool into a colostomy bag. This procedure will stop faeces from passing through my vagina, reduce the risk of infection and further complications, relieve much of my suffering and restore a measure of dignity and quality of life.

Unfortunately, I do not have the financial means to pay for this surgery privately. The estimated cost of the procedure, hospitalization, specialist fees and related medical expenses is approximately TT$50,000, and I am hoping to raise these funds by 17th August 2026 so that the surgery can be performed as soon as possible.

As a single mother, this amount is far beyond my reach. Every dollar I receive will go directly toward obtaining the urgent medical care that I need. This surgery is not cosmetic or elective—it is a medical necessity that will allow me to live with less pain, reduce serious health risks and continue caring for my three young daughters.

Today, I am humbly asking for your support. Any contribution, regardless of size, will bring me closer to receiving this life-changing surgery. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing my story with your family, friends, colleagues and social networks. Your support could help reach someone who is able to assist.

Cancer may not have defeated me, but the complications it left behind continue to threaten my health, independence, and ability to care for my children. With your help, I can finally receive the treatment I urgently need and focus on rebuilding my life.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your kindness, generosity, prayers and support during this difficult time. Your contribution will help give me hope, relief from suffering and the opportunity to continue being the mother my daughters need.
