Hello, my name is Garfield , and I am humbly reaching out for your help during one of the most difficult times of my life.

I am 51 years old, an asthmatic, and I live with constant sciatic nerve pain in my left leg and spinal area. For over 11 and a half years, I worked faithfully with a company, giving my best every single day. Sadly, due to spitefulness and unfair treatment from management, I was forced out. They sent me on vacation and, without any real explanation, terminated my employment through an email. After more than a decade of loyalty and sacrifice, I was left without a job.

Since then, my life has been a constant struggle. Because of my health and age, it has been very difficult to secure another stable job.I work as much as I could but due to my recent health where my feet were swelling up drastically, i was given medical advice that I need to be less on my feet which interfered with whatever work I could get. I sought assistance from govt offices but has been told that no help is available until govt officials have been put in place . I still have debts to clear, and the weight of it all is overwhelming.



Right now, my most urgent need is shelter. I am currently living behind my stepmother’s board house, but I long to have a small, simple place of my own to finally call home. My dream is to build a basic board house—a safe and humble space where I can find peace and stability.

I am not asking for luxury. I am only asking for the chance to live with dignity and security. Life has been hard, and sometimes I feel broken, but I believe with the kindness of others, I can take this step forward.
