My mother, my confidant, and the cornerstone of our family has been diagnosed with carcinosarcoma - a rare and aggressive form of cancer. The road ahead is daunting, filled with surgeries and therapy sessions. But more than the physical pain, it's the weight of uncertainty that's the hardest to bear. She's not just my mother. She's my best friend and I'm going to knock on every door, to help her with this journey. She's been bleeding since February and undergoing many tests to help her identify the issue. However it wasn't until we took her to Sangre Grande Hospital after consistent misdiagnosis at Mt Hope Women's Hospital, that she was diagnosed with Carcinosarcoma, 5 months after.

The doctor shared that she should ideally get surgery done within 6 weeks of diagnosis to help manage the risk of spread, which is why I'm appealing to all of you to help us secure the funds so she can have surgery and begin her cancer treatment.
