Dear friends

Our family is reaching out to you for your support. Over carnival, Michael was diagnosed with Metastatic Prostate Cancer and to our shock and heartbreak, we discovered he was already at Stage 4 and the tumors have spread throughout his body. This is not something we ever prepared for. Just the day before he was his usual highly active self. However as you can imagine he needs urgent and intense care and treatment.

He has already gone through numerous tests and scans and endured an intense round of radiation. Some days the side effects are unbearable for him. However, if you know Michael you know he does not ask for help at all. He is the person who will rather give everything he has to help others in need and do without. He deserves the best chance at beating this. In the coming weeks he will start his first round of IV Chemotherapy which some of us know, will bring its own challenges.

We are pleading for your help in raising funds to support his upcoming treatment, surgeries and medical bills as our family is no longer able to manage the medical bills on our own.

Please share this with your networks. Any amount is appreciated and those that cannot contribute we ask you to keep him in your prayers.

We thank you from the bottom of our hearts and are truly grateful for all the support. We will keep you updated on his progress.

Should you need further information or prefer alternative donation avenues, please contact +1(868)378-1077.

Thanking you in advance for all your support. God bless!!!

  • Friends, family and all those who have been great support - Michael has finally finished his last cycle of chemotherapy last month following which the doctors requested a PET scan to determine if the treatment worked and where things are currently. The PET scan was done on Wednesday and we got back the results Friday. Unfortunately it’s not what we had hoped for. The cancer is still very evident in the prostate and in the lumbar and sacral spine. They are also now seeing traces in the upper abdomen. It is clear that the treatment was not as successful as we all had hoped and the cancer remains aggressive. We have our consultation meeting with the doctors this week so we will know next steps then. Currently he still continues on multiple medications, especially for pain, but we are seeing him starting to deteriorate so that is something we have to prepare for mentally and emotionally. Your continued prayers and support is greatly appreciated and welcomed as we continue this journey as we know the road ahead is going to get rough. Thank you from all of us and may God bless you always.
