Formed in 2013 and featuring many well-known Parang personalities, Solo Para Ti is a Latin music group, also performing parang music during Christmas time. The band was founded by Julio Torres, who has worked with many bands, such as La Divina Pastora, San Jose Serenaders, Los Tocadores, Los Almunos de San Juan, and others including, Del Caribe, Rio Suave, Latino Soy and more. He has travelled the world extensively, bringing back his musical experience which influences the sound of the band.

The band also features genres include Salsa, Merengue, Latin Jazz, Latin Pop, Latin Folk, World Music, as well as Traditional Parang, Contemporary Parang and Soca Parang. Despite the Covid-19 pandemic, Solo Para Ti hits the Wack Radio 90.1 FM virtual stages again.

Solo Para Ti, is one of many members of the local entertainment industry that is usually active all year round. Even though we have chosen to remain active under these special circumstances, we too have been and continue to be affected by loss of income. Thus, we will appreciate any and all contributions to offset the expenses associated with running a band, such as transportation, equipment care, wardrobe, music preparation, rehearsals, marketing, and our upcoming virtual events. Through this, we would be able to continue doing what we love, which is at its core, entertaining music and dance lovers alike, while keeping the culture alive.
