My name is Ann Dolly and I live in Trinidad and Tobago. I was involved in a fatal accident in 2001 and suffered a broken hip. Reconstruction surgery took place and thereafter hip replacement. I fell in February 2023 and broke the same hip which necessitated emergency surgery. Unfortunately, the prosthesis collapsed and further surgery was necessary in November 2023. To date I have spent approx. TT350,000 (US$51,000. approx) from personal savings even after insurance claims. I am retired with limited mobility. As a result, my savings have been depleted.

Once again, the prosthesis has failed and I am now required to travel overseas to undergo another surgical procedure to the hip. Arrangements have been made with the Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami Florida. The estimated cost of the hospital care is approx US$40,000.00. This sum is now out of my reach.

I am appealing to all to contribute to this fund which would provide me with the resources to undertake the much-needed surgery. My goal is to be able to regain my mobility and to reduce the considerable pain that I am now experiencing.
